Materials - safety first

When selecting a pacifier for your baby, it’s comforting to know that every aspect, from materials to design, is thoughtfully crafted with your child’s safety and comfort in mind.

All the pacifiers we sell are designed using high-quality, safe materials that are 100% free from harmful substances like BPA, PVC, and phthalates. Our pacifiers are produced within the EU, complying with the stringent EN1400 safety standards, ensuring that every pacifier meets rigorous guidelines for material quality, construction, and packaging—all for the safety of your child.

The two most common components of pacifiers are the nipple and the shield, with materials carefully selected to meet health, environmental, and durability standards.

The nipple of a pacifier is often made from either natural rubber latex or silicone. Natural rubber latex is highly elastic, mimicking the softness of skin, which provides comfort for babies as they soothe themselves. Latex is 100% natural, and all our suppliers source from sustainable plantations, making it a popular choice for eco-conscious parents. Silicone, on the other hand, is hypoallergenic, odorless, and free of harmful substances like BPA, PVC, and phthalates. It offers a durable, easy-to-clean option that resists bacteria.

For the shield, polypropylene (PP) is commonly used. PP is a durable, recyclable plastic, known for its resistance to bacteria and moisture, making it ideal for baby products. Free from harmful chemicals like BPA and phthalates, it provides a safe and sustainable option.

When choosing a pacifier, understanding the materials and safety standards can help you make a more informed decision—one that ensures the well-being of your baby while also considering the environment.
